Living in another country, even if it’s one you’ve lived in before, is always challenging. I am rediscovering the US since voluntarily leaving California 19 years ago.

My hope is that writing down some thoughts now will help me sort out and remember these experiences later. And since my friends are spread out all over, it’s away to keep in touch with those across the pond. Well, actually, across two ponds – the Atlantic and the Pacific.
